HOW MUCH
DO YOU
RECYCLE?
"The basic foundation and mission of our program is to encourage citizen to approach new ways of recycling, starting in our own community".
Canadian households produce approximately 14 million tons of waste, in at least a year. In addition to this, only 32% of this is recycled, leaving 78% to be sent for disposal. Lack of recycling facilities contribute to this poor movement, although Canadians as a whole have currently been fairly active in recycling, according to Statistics Canada.
